About Me
Hey there! I recently graduated (2024) from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies. My background includes ecology and conservation, but I also have interests in similar fields like sustainability, environmental monitoring and planning, green building, renewable energy systems, and climate change mitigation. Recently, I have been picking up skills in online applications, including coding in Python and R, statistical analysis using JMP Statistical Software and RStudio, and documentation using Quarto. I am currently looking for an entry-level position in these fields in the Bay Area or Orange County, California.
Beyond studying, collecting data in the field or running tests in the lab, I spend lots of my time outdoors. I have a strong passion for sports, with basketball being my longtime favorite and intermittent play in football, volleyball, soccer, ultimate frisbee, ping pong, spikeball, and crossnet. I enjoy hiking and tidepooling and admiring the natural scenery around me. Indoors, I like to play board games like strategy games, social deduction games, and card games. I also tremendously enjoy cooking and baking and am always looking to try a new recipe!
